With us, you can take full advantage of the Selous offering one of the most diverse ranges of activities available in any natural wildlife park in the world. Experiment with the different activities available to you by either driving, boating, walking.

The full board provides – full breakfasts, dinners, and lunch either onsite or packed lunches for day trips+ drinking water during safaris.
3 days Wildlife Safari in Selous Game Reserve, approximate distances and travel time:
Dar Es Salaam -Selous Game Reserve: 300 km/5-6 hrs on the way.
Morning 7.30 am pick up from hotel or agreed on point in Dar Es Salaam and drive to the Selous Game Reserve. The way takes about 5 hrs. After reaching Selous GR start afternoon boat trip. Usually, the afternoon boat trip leaves camp at 4 pm and returns at 6. 30 pm. It’s an ideal trip if you would like to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Rufiji River with many hippos, crocodiles, and beautiful birdlife. The sunset can also be stunning from the boat. There is nothing quite like the serenity of the river while the sun dips below the horizon.

The day will be spent on game viewing in the Game Reserve. The safari guide points out rare species of animals like the Wild Dogs. Sable antelopes, black rhinoceros, Nile Crocodile, hippopotamus along the banks of the Rufiji river, Cape buffalo, hartebeest and Eland. Picnic lunches and drinks will be served in the wilderness before heading back to camp for dinner and overnight to the Camp.

Earl Morning breakfast at the camp and start a sunrise bushwalking. Walking safaris are a fantastic way to get close to nature and learn more about the smaller species and the bush itself. It’s an unforgettable experience to walk within such a vast and untamed area of the natural reserve. The walks take about 2-3 hours long. Usually, walks leave camp at 6:00AM-6:30 AM after having a cup of tea and some homemade biscuits or doughnuts.
After walking back to the camp for breakfast and start your way to Dar Es Salaam.
