Hi, I’m Sylwia. Before I set foot in Africa and fell in love with Tanzania, I lived in different places across the United Arab Emirates and often spent time in Oman. I know these regions inside out. I think my love for Zanzibar was born, among other things, from the cultural similarities between the island and Oman.
Dubai and Oman slowly drew me in — the sunsets over the desert, the scent of spices, that unique blend of modernity and tradition. It’s a different rhythm, but still the same passion — discovering the world through the eyes of the people who live there. That’s why I don’t take you on a trip around the world but to places I truly know and love. Places I’ve felt under my skin.
I invite you to explore these places with me and my local partner, Mohammed, whom I’ve known for nearly 20 years. He taught me the secrets of Dubai and Oman, showing me different sides of them and helping me see what often goes unnoticed at first glance. Together, we’ll take you on a unique journey — from the desert dunes and bustling souks of Dubai, through the green wadis of Oman, all the way to its majestic mountains. Because it’s these stories that stay with you long after you’ve returned home.
Because Dubai has two faces: the shiny one you see in travel brochures, and the other — full of local flavors, people, and stories. That authentic side often gets overlooked. And Oman? It may not yet be as popular as other destinations, but it hides something special — peace, authenticity, and genuine cultural encounters. I love that. And I want you to feel it too — to become part of this story, not just a tourist checking off a list of attractions.
