Terms and conditions

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These general terms apply to agreements for organizing tourism events such as group and individual trips/safaris/accommodations, etc., by:

Hello Tanzania, registered in Tanzania with license number 018405 as a tour operator under the name Wild Hello Tanzania Tours and Safari Ltd, located at Msolomi Street, Road Kawawa, Plot number 256/Block 41, Post code 14110 Dar Es Salaam, managed by KAMar concept of business GmbH, Bahnhofstrasse 12, 8708 Männedorf, Switzerland

and agreements made through the representative office in Germany by Sylwia Boniecka Hello Tanzania, Vegesacker Bahnhofsplatz 2, 28757 Bremen.

Disclaimers:

  1. Travel plans and quotations provided by Hello Tanzania are merely suggestions. Any price offer is valid for 7 days from the date sent. After this period, the price may change. A tour booking is considered confirmed when the required payment is made according to the terms of the agreement. Detailed information about the booking procedure is contained in a separate document titled BOOKING PROCEDURE.
  2. Upon receiving payment, Hello Tanzania commits to providing services according to the plan, which is an integral part of the agreement. If for reasons beyond Hello Tanzania’s control the requested service cannot be provided, you will be notified and appropriate alternatives will be presented along with their availability and prices.
  3. Hello Tanzania has no influence and therefore bears no responsibility for any delays, cancellations, or changes related to transportation, such as schedules, timing, fees, and does not control flight or ferry times. In case of delays or cancellations, we make every effort to mitigate these delays and changes. Please consider the possibility of such changes when planning subsequent stays in Tanzania/Zanzibar or flights. Additionally, due to weather, the travel plan may change; flights may be canceled or dates may need to be changed. Please consider that arrival times and the travel plan may change due to unforeseen circumstances. We make every effort to ensure a smooth tour. However, please prepare for potential delays and changes, especially due to local conditions in Africa.
  4. Hello Tanzania is not liable if participants are unable to partake in the tour due to external reasons beyond our control, nor for loss or damage of luggage during transit to/from the tour or during the tour itself.
  5. We recommend purchasing an additional travel insurance package.

Payment Options:

  1. A thirty percent (30%) deposit is required to secure confirmation, unless otherwise agreed. Payment methods include online credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, or cash on-site.
  2. The final payment must be made 10 days before the tour start date, unless a cash payment is agreed upon. For tours booked close to the start date, conditions are negotiated individually. Cash payments only in US dollars or their equivalent in Tanzanian shillings, according to the current exchange rate. USD payments only in notes issued after 2009.
  3. Final payment terms are included in the agreement.

 

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

  1. Cancellations must be reported via email, noting the correct date.
  2. If Hello Tanzania receives notification of cancellation thirty-one (31) days or more before the scheduled tour date, the deposit will be fully refunded, i.e., one hundred percent (100%) of the amount paid.
  3. If cancellation notification is received between thirty (30) and ten (10) days before the scheduled tour date, fifty percent (50%) of the deposit amount will be refunded.
  4. If notification of cancellation is received nine (9) days or fewer before the scheduled departure date, the company will retain the full deposit, i.e., one hundred percent (100%).
  5. For one-day safaris, in case of cancellation three (3) days or less before the scheduled tour date, the client covers one hundred percent (100%) of the tour cost.
  6. For two (2) and three (3) day safaris organized by plane, cancellation three (3) days or less before the scheduled tour date requires covering the cost of flights.
  7. Hello Tanzania will make every effort to execute the travel plan as published; however, the final plan may change due to factors beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer alternative services of similar quality as specified in the travel plan.
  8. If for any reason the event is canceled by Hello Tanzania, you will receive a full refund. Our liability in case of trip cancellation is limited to the full refund of funds deposited into our account and does not cover any other costs, compensations, or refunds of any kind for any losses, delays, inconveniences, disappointment, or expenses in such cases. If an ongoing journey must be interrupted or canceled, our liability is strictly limited to the refund of the unused portion of the journey.
  9. Refunds will be made to the account specified by the client within three weeks of the cancellation date.
  10. We

 

reserve the right to cancel the tour for reasons related to safety, health, or the well-being of travelers and our staff.

 

Additional Conditions:

  1. If any part of the program is an inseparable part of the entire package without prior information on additional charges, refunds for changes to these plan elements are not subject to refunds.
  2. Hello Tanzania will make reasonable efforts to maintain the Travel Plan as published; however, the final route may vary depending on availability and factors beyond our control. In such cases, we will propose alternative services, such as hotel transfers or services of similar quality as specified in the Travel Plan. Customers will be informed about any changes.

 

Acceptance of Terms:

  1. Payment of the deposit implies acceptance of the agreement and general terms.
