Day 1 – Scenic Travel & Sunset Safari
Start early from Zanzibar or Dar Es Salaam. Take the ferry and a scenic train ride through hills and villages to Morogoro. After lunch, a private car takes you to Mikumi National Park. Check into your bungalow, then head to a nearby Maasai village for a cultural visit. Finish the day with a sunset safari – perfect lighting, active animals, unforgettable views. Dinner and overnight in the park.
Day 2 – Sunrise Safari & Return
Early morning wake-up. After a quick breakfast, you go on another game drive – sunrise is the best time for wildlife. Return for a full breakfast, enjoy a short drive through the park, and begin your journey back. Return via train, car or an optional direct flight from Mikumi to Zanzibar.
